Burning after meals. A knee that resists the stairs. A worry you have not said aloud. You do not need a diagnosis to begin — this page takes what you are feeling and points you to the right guide, the way a good front desk would.

One clinic. Eight doors.

Every family of concerns BharatClinic consults for has its own door — and its own guide behind it. Tap the door that sounds like yours; you can change direction at any time.

A lamp for each door: the flame for digestion, the downward drop for piles, the seed and the crescent for men’s and women’s wellness, the rising lines for strength, the meeting bones for joints, the strand for skin and hair, the moon for sleep. Ayurveda’s names for these ideas sit beside each door, in plain words, further down the page.

  • Agni · digestive fire — Digestive Health
  • Apāna Vāyu · downward movement — Piles & Anorectal
  • Śukra · reproductive vitality — Men’s Wellness
  • Ārtava · menstrual rhythm — Women’s Wellness
  • Ojas · staying power — Strength & Recovery
  • Sandhi · a joining place — Bones & Joints
  • Tvak · the skin — Skin & Hair
  • Nidrā · sleep — Sleep & Stress

As you scroll, a gold thread of light travels down a corridor and lights eight lamps in turn — digestion, piles and anorectal care, men’s intimate wellness, women’s wellness, strength and recovery, bones and joints, skin and hair, and sleep and stress. At the end the lamps become eight doors, and each door is a link to that concern’s own guide. The same eight links are also listed as cards immediately after this section.

Every door, in full

Where would you like to begin?

Each card is a doorway to that concern’s own hub — with its common conditions listed so you can go straight to the page that fits. More than one may apply; start anywhere.

Not sure which door fits — or does more than one fit at once? That is common, and it is useful information in itself. One private line is enough to be pointed the right way.

Start with a symptom

If no category name fits, start with the thing you would say out loud. Each line points to the guide where that symptom is usually discussed.

One symptom can have more than one cause — bleeding during stool, for example, is not automatically piles. These links are places to start reading, not conclusions.

Before you decide anything

You don’t need to diagnose yourself first

Symptoms overlap, and the same complaint can have several causes. A website — this one included — can help you notice a pattern and choose where to start reading. It cannot tell you what you have. That is what a consultation is for, and if your concern needs a test or a different specialist, saying so plainly is part of the job.

  • Bleeding during stool is not automatically piles. Fissures and other causes look similar from the outside, and they are treated differently — which is why it deserves a proper look rather than a guess.
  • Hair fall rarely has a single cause. Recent illness, iron, thyroid, inherited pattern, scalp condition and stress can all contribute — often more than one at once.
  • Intimate concerns can be physical, situational or both. Sleep, stress, sugar and blood pressure matter here more than most people expect.
  • Burning in the stomach has more than one explanation. Meals, timing, medicines and reflux each point a different way — the pattern decides the route.

Safety comes first

Some symptoms should not wait

Most concerns on this page can begin with a routine consultation. A few cannot. If one of these is happening now, use urgent in-person medical care first — do not wait for a message reply, from us or from anyone.

Heavy or continuous bleeding of any kind
Sudden, severe pain — chest, abdomen or a hot swollen joint
Fainting, confusion, or serious difficulty breathing
Sudden weakness on one side, face drooping or slurred speech
A missed period with severe pain, or pregnancy with pain or bleeding
Thoughts of self-harm, or being unable to stay safe

These signs do not tell you the diagnosis — they tell you that timing matters. Ayurvedic consultation is not emergency care, and this list is not exhaustive: when in doubt, go in person. Each concern’s own guide carries its fuller safety section.

How the reading works

The Ayurvedic lens, in plain words

Whichever door you choose, the first consultation asks ordinary questions: when hunger arrives, how meals settle, what the bowel pattern is, how sleep behaves, what the daily routine looks like, and what changed around the time the problem began. Ayurveda reads these together as one pattern — and it has old, simple names for the ideas involved.

An honest boundary: these are traditional organising ideas, not laboratory findings. They sit beside ordinary medical judgement — they do not replace examinations, tests, or referral to a specialist when the pattern calls for one.

Agni · अग्नि
Digestive fire. A way of talking about digestion and transformation — not literal fire in the stomach.
Apāna Vāyu · अपान वायु
Downward movement. The traditional lens for bowel and lower-body function — not wind trapped inside.
Śukra · शुक्र
Reproductive vitality. A whole-person idea — bigger than sperm, and not a finite tank that drains.
Ārtava · आर्तव
Menstrual rhythm. A cycle with a pattern — it does not have to arrive on one perfect date.
Ojas · ओजस्
Staying power. Resilience and vigour — not a powder, and not instant strength.
Sandhi · सन्धि
A joining place. The joint as a meeting of parts — not an oil tank that runs dry.
Tvak · त्वक्
The skin. The body’s outer threshold — appearance alone cannot reveal a cause.
Nidrā · निद्रा
Sleep. Read with the whole day — the mind does not switch off like a bulb.

The person behind every door

The doctor you would speak to

Whichever concern brings you here, consultations are led by Dr. D. K. Sharma, BAMS — in Punjabi, Hindi or English, at either Ludhiana branch or by phone. The pattern comes before any product, and if your concern needs a test, a scan or a different specialist, you will be told so plainly and pointed there.

If you have been searching for a “stomach specialist in Ludhiana”, a “skin specialist”, a “sexologist” or the “best Ayurvedic doctor in Ludhiana” — those are search phrases, not verified rankings, and BharatClinic does not claim them. What is worth checking, wherever you go: a named doctor with a qualification you can verify, a stated fee, and a willingness to refer.

Questions people ask

Clear answers before you choose

A page can point you to the right door. It cannot tell you what you have — and it should say so.

What health concerns does BharatClinic in Ludhiana consult for?

Eight families of concerns: digestive health, piles and anorectal care, men’s intimate wellness, women’s wellness, strength and recovery, bones and joints, skin and hair, and sleep and stress. Each has its own guide on this page, and each guide lists its common conditions.

Can I contact BharatClinic if I don’t know my exact diagnosis?

Yes — that is the normal way to begin. Describe what you are feeling in one line, in Punjabi, Hindi or English. We first check whether your concern is something we should handle; if it is not, we say so and point you to who should.

How much does a consultation cost?

₹500 — and only after we confirm your concern suits us. The suitability conversation itself carries no fee. Consultations run in person at either Ludhiana branch, or by phone.

Does BharatClinic discuss men’s private health concerns?

Yes, privately. Timing, nightfall, erection concerns, Dhat and fertility questions are consulted one-to-one, with the door closed. Your first message does not need to name the concern at all.

Do you consult for women’s concerns such as PCOS or white discharge?

Yes — periods, white discharge, PCOS and PCOD questions, hormonal changes and recovery after delivery. Honestly put: PCOS is managed, not permanently cured, and any clinic promising otherwise is selling something. Where a scan or a gynaecologist is needed, we say so.

Is an Ayurvedic consultation a replacement for tests or specialists?

No. Ayurvedic assessment reads your pattern — appetite, digestion, sleep, routine — and it sits beside ordinary medical care, not in place of it. When a blood test, a scan, an endoscopy or a specialist opinion is the right route, that is what we recommend.

When should I go to a hospital instead of messaging a clinic?

For anything sudden and severe: heavy bleeding, severe pain, fainting, breathing difficulty, one-sided weakness, or pregnancy with pain or bleeding. Use urgent in-person care first — do not wait for a WhatsApp reply from anyone.

Can I consult from outside Ludhiana, or from abroad?

Yes, by phone — it works well for history and for reviewing reports you already have. Some concerns need an in-person examination, and we tell you when that is the case rather than keep booking calls. Time-zone slots can be arranged for patients overseas.

The smallest useful next step

One private line is enough to begin

You can simply say, “Something is troubling me and I am not sure which page fits.” You do not need medical words, and you do not need to choose a door first.

The prefilled first message is neutral — “Namaste, I have a health concern I would like to discuss privately. Please guide me on the right next step.” — and you can edit it freely before sending. Nothing is sent until you press send.

General information only. This page helps you choose a starting point — it does not diagnose a condition or replace urgent medical care.
